Ingredients

- 1 cup dried hibiscus flowers
- 8 cups water
- 1/2 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1 cinnamon stick (optional)
- Ice cubes for serving
Instructions
- Rinse the hibiscus flowers under cold water.
- In a pot, bring 8 cups of water to a boil.
- Add the hibiscus flowers and cinnamon stick (if using).
- Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let steep for 15 minutes.
- Strain the liquid into a pitcher and stir in sugar until dissolved.
- Let cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled.
- Serve over ice and enjoy.
Notes
- Adjust sugar to your preferred sweetness.
- For a stronger flavor, steep longer.
- Can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
