Description

A refreshing and tangy hibiscus iced tea, perfect for hot days.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup dried hibiscus flowers
  • 8 cups water
  • 1/2 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cinnamon stick (optional)
  • Ice cubes for serving

Instructions

  1. Rinse the hibiscus flowers under cold water.
  2. In a pot, bring 8 cups of water to a boil.
  3. Add the hibiscus flowers and cinnamon stick (if using).
  4. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and let steep for 15 minutes.
  6. Strain the liquid into a pitcher and stir in sugar until dissolved.
  7. Let cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled.
  8. Serve over ice and enjoy.
