A delicious and easy-to-make apple fritter bread with a sweet cinnamon glaze.

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 medium apples, peeled and diced
- 1/4 cup brown sugar (for topping)
- 1 tsp cinnamon (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
- Alternate adding flour mixture and milk to the butter mixture, stirring until combined.
- Fold in diced apples. Pour half the batter into the pan.
- Sprinkle half the brown sugar and cinnamon mix over the batter. Repeat with remaining batter and topping.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
Notes
- Use firm apples like Granny Smith or Honeycrisp.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- For extra sweetness, drizzle with icing after cooling.
