- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
- 4 cups apples, peeled and sliced
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix flour and granulated sugar in a bowl. Cut in butter until crumbly.
- Press mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking pan.
- Layer apples over the crust. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Combine oats and walnuts for the streusel topping. Sprinkle over apples.
- Bake for 40 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool before cutting into bars.
