Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup beer (or soda water)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 lime (juiced)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1 avocado (sliced)
  • 1/2 cup pico de gallo

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Add beer and whisk until smooth.
  3. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  4. Dip fish fillets in the batter and fry until golden, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  5. Drain on paper towels.
  6. Mix mayonnaise and lime juice for the sauce.
  7. Warm tortillas.
  8. Assemble tacos with fish, cabbage, cilantro, avocado, and pico de gallo.
  9. Drizzle with sauce.
