Description
A classic peach cobbler with a sweet, buttery crust and juicy peaches.
Ingredients

- 4 cups fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix peaches, sugar, and water in a saucepan. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Melt butter in a baking dish.
- Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and milk in a bowl. Pour over melted butter.
- Spoon peach mixture on top.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- Use ripe peaches for best flavor.
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
