Description

Blueberry crumble bars are a delicious dessert with a buttery crust, sweet blueberry filling, and a crumbly topping.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, oats, brown sugar, and salt. Stir in melted butter until crumbly.
  3. Press half the mixture into the pan to form the crust.
  4. In another bowl, toss blueberries with granulated sugar, lemon juice, and cornstarch. Spread over the crust.
  5. Sprinkle remaining crumb mixture over the blueberries.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden. Cool before cutting into bars.

Notes

  • Use frozen blueberries if fresh aren’t available.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • Serve warm with ice cream for extra indulgence.
