- 4 large yams, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups mini marshmallows
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Place sliced yams in a greased baking dish.
- Mix brown sugar, melted butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and vanilla in a bowl.
- Pour mixture over yams and toss to coat evenly.
- Cover with foil and bake for 40 minutes.
- Remove foil, top with marshmallows, and bake uncovered for 10 more minutes.
- Serve warm.
