A refreshing and flavorful pasta salad combining classic Caprese ingredients with a rich pesto dressing.
Ingredients

- 8 oz pasta (penne or fusilli)
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 8 oz fresh mozzarella, cubed
- 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves
- 1/4 cup pesto sauce
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and let cool.
- In a large bowl, combine cooled pasta, cherry tomatoes, and mozzarella cubes.
- Add pesto sauce, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar. Toss gently to coat.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
- Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
