Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion (chopped)
- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 1 can (15 oz tomato sauce)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onion until the beef is browned and onion is translucent. Drain any excess fat.
- In a separate pot, bring salted water to a boil and cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Add the tomato sauce, milk, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the skillet with the beef. Stir well and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the cooked elbow macaroni and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix well until the cheese is melted and everything is evenly coated.
- Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve warm.
Notes
For extra richness, use a splash of heavy cream instead of milk. Want to spice it up? Add chili flakes or jalapeños.
