Ingredients
Fresh cherries
Almond flour
Cinnamon
Vanilla extract
Butter
Sliced almonds
Sugar
Eggs
Lemon zest
Instructions
1. Cream the butter and sugar until fluffy.
2. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well.
3. Mix in vanilla extract and lemon zest.
4. Fold in almond flour for a smooth texture.
5. Fold in cherries and pour into a greased dish.
6. Sprinkle sliced almonds on top.
7. Bake until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
Notes
Ensure ingredients are at room temperature for a fluffy batter.
Rotate the dish halfway through baking for even browning.
