Description
A delicious dessert combining tart cranberries with rich fudge in a pie crust.
Ingredients

- 1 1/2 cups fresh cranberries
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 prepared pie crust (9-inch)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- In a saucepan, combine cranberries, sugar, and water. Cook over medium heat until cranberries burst.
- Spread cranberry mixture in the bottom of the pie crust.
- In a bowl, whisk cocoa powder, melted butter, eggs, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
- Pour chocolate mixture over cranberries in pie crust.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until set.
- Cool completely before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh cranberries for best results.
- Let pie cool completely to allow filling to set.
- Store leftovers in refrigerator.
