Ingredients
- 1 ripe mango (peeled and chopped (frozen))
- 1 cup frozen dragonfruit chunks (pink or white flesh)
- 1 cup coconut water or cold filtered water
- 1 –2 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional, depending on sweetness of fruit)
- Juice of 1 small lime
- Ice cubes (optional, for thicker texture)
Instructions
- Freeze the fruit: If using fresh mango or dragonfruit, freeze for at least 2 hours before blending.
- Add to blender: Combine frozen mango, frozen dragonfruit, coconut water, lime juice, and sweetener if using.
- Blend: Blend until smooth and slushy. Add a few ice cubes if needed to thicken.
- Taste and adjust: Add more lime or sweetener to balance flavor as desired.
- Serve immediately: Pour into chilled glasses and enjoy with a straw or spoon!
Notes
For a creamier texture, add a splash of coconut milk.
Watermelon juice can be used instead of coconut water for a fruity variation.
Turn leftovers into popsicles: pour into molds and freeze!
Store extra slush in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 1 week. Re-blend with a splash of water before serving.
For added freshness, blend in a few mint leaves.
