Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix flour, softened butter, and granulated sugar until crumbly. Press into a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  3. Bake for 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
  4. Beat eggs, corn syrup, brown sugar, melted butter, and vanilla in a bowl. Stir in pecans.
  5. Pour over baked crust. Bake for 25 minutes or until set.
  6. Let cool before cutting into bars.
