- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup corn syrup
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix flour, softened butter, and granulated sugar until crumbly. Press into a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Bake for 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Beat eggs, corn syrup, brown sugar, melted butter, and vanilla in a bowl. Stir in pecans.
- Pour over baked crust. Bake for 25 minutes or until set.
- Let cool before cutting into bars.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- For a crispier crust, bake an additional 5 minutes.
