- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup water
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained
- 1 cup corn kernels
- 1 cup salsa
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 bag (10 oz) tortilla chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Stir in black beans, corn, and salsa. Cook for 2 more minutes.
- Layer half the tortilla chips in a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spread the beef mixture evenly over the chips.
- Sprinkle with half the cheese.
- Repeat layers with remaining chips and cheese.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use lean ground beef for less grease.
- Swap black beans for pinto beans if preferred.
- Top with sour cream or avocado after baking.
