Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in the cranberries and orange zest.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the cream and egg, then add to the dry ingredients.
- Knead the dough gently on a floured surface, then shape into a circle and cut into wedges.
- Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15-18 minutes, or until golden brown.
