Ingredients

- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 egg
Instructions
- Mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast in a bowl.
- Add warm milk, melted butter, and egg. Stir until dough forms.
- Knead dough on a floured surface for 5 minutes.
- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
- Divide dough into 12 pieces and shape into rolls.
- Place rolls in a greased baking pan and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Bake at 375°F for 18-20 minutes.
Notes
- Use fresh yeast for best results.
- Cover dough with a damp towel while rising.
- Brush rolls with melted butter after baking for extra softness.
