Description
A classic French Silk Pie with a rich chocolate filling and fluffy whipped cream topping.
Ingredients

- 1 9-inch pie crust, baked and cooled
- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- 3 oz (85g) unsweetened chocolate, melted
- 1/2 cup (113g) unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup (240ml) heavy whipping cream
- 1 tbsp powdered sugar
Instructions
- Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add melted chocolate and vanilla, mix well.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating for 5 minutes after each addition.
- Pour filling into cooled pie crust and refrigerate for 4 hours.
- Whip cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Spread whipped cream over chilled pie before serving.
Notes
- Use room temperature eggs for best results
- Chill mixing bowl before whipping cream
- Store pie refrigerated for up to 4 days
