Description

A classic French Silk Pie with a rich chocolate filling and fluffy whipped cream topping.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 9-inch pie crust, baked and cooled
  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
  • 3 oz (85g) unsweetened chocolate, melted
  • 1/2 cup (113g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup (240ml) heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Add melted chocolate and vanilla, mix well.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, beating for 5 minutes after each addition.
  4. Pour filling into cooled pie crust and refrigerate for 4 hours.
  5. Whip cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
  6. Spread whipped cream over chilled pie before serving.
