Crispy baked cauliflower tots, a healthy and delicious alternative to traditional potato tots.
Ingredients

- 1 medium head cauliflower, cut into florets
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Steam cauliflower florets for 5-6 minutes until tender. Drain well.
- Chop cauliflower finely or pulse in a food processor.
- In a bowl, mix cauliflower with cheese, breadcrumbs, egg, and spices.
- Shape mixture into small tot shapes and place on baking sheet.
- Brush with olive oil and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Flip halfway through baking for even crispiness.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- Press out excess moisture from cauliflower after steaming
- For crispier tots, broil for 1-2 minutes at the end
- Can be frozen before baking for meal prep
- Substitute gluten-free breadcrumbs if needed
