- 1 lb lean ground turkey
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 head romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 cup red onion, diced
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt or sour cream
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the ground turkey and cook until browned.
- Stir in the taco seasoning and a splash of water. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine the lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, and avocado.
- Top the salad with the cooked turkey, cheese, and cilantro.
- Whisk together the lime juice and Greek yogurt. Drizzle over the salad.
- Toss gently and serve immediately.
Notes
- Swap Greek yogurt with sour cream for a richer taste.
- Add black beans or corn for extra texture.
- For extra spice, mix in diced jalapeños.
