Description

A fresh and flavorful taco salad made with lean ground turkey, crisp vegetables, and a zesty dressing.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground turkey
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 head romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup red onion, diced
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt or sour cream

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the ground turkey and cook until browned.
  2. Stir in the taco seasoning and a splash of water. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, and avocado.
  4. Top the salad with the cooked turkey, cheese, and cilantro.
  5. Whisk together the lime juice and Greek yogurt. Drizzle over the salad.
  6. Toss gently and serve immediately.
