Ingredients

- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme, parsley)
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Dissolve yeast in warm water with sugar. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- Mix flour and salt in a bowl. Add yeast mixture and melted butter. Knead until smooth.
- Fold in chopped herbs. Cover and let the dough rise for 1 hour.
- Divide dough into 12 pieces. Shape into rolls and place on a baking sheet.
- Let rolls rise for another 30 minutes. Brush with egg wash.
- Bake at 375°F for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
