Description

Ingredients

  • 12 oz fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tbsp orange zest
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Rinse the cranberries and pick out any bad ones.
  2. In a saucepan, combine sugar, water, and salt. Bring to a boil.
  3. Add cranberries and return to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes until cranberries burst.
  4. Stir in orange zest.
  5. Remove from heat and let cool. The sauce will thicken as it cools.
  6. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
