Ingredients

- 1 cup small pasta rings
- 2 cups tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Cook pasta rings according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a saucepan, combine tomato sauce, water, olive oil, sugar, salt, and garlic powder. Bring to a simmer.
- Add cooked pasta to the sauce and stir gently to coat.
- Simmer for 5 minutes until flavors meld.
- Serve warm or pack in a thermos for later.
Notes
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- For extra creaminess, stir in a tablespoon of butter before serving.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
