Description

A delightful blend of sweet and savory flavors, Honey BBQ Chicken Rice combines juicy chicken thighs with fragrant rice, all coated in a honey-infused BBQ sauce.

Ingredients

Boneless chicken thighs

BBQ sauce

Honey

Jasmine or basmati rice

Soy sauce

Garlic powder

Smoked paprika

Chopped green onions

Optional: Sesame seeds, lime juice, diced bell peppers, corn

Instructions

1. Cut the boneless chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces.

2. Combine BBQ sauce, honey, soy sauce, and garlic powder to create a marinade.

3. Toss the chicken in the marinade and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

4. Rinse the rice under cold water and cook according to package instructions, adding smoked paprika to the water.

5. Fluff the cooked rice with a fork.

6. Serve the rice in a bowl, top with marinated chicken, and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

Use a zip-lock bag for marinating the chicken for even coating and easy cleanup.

For perfect rice texture, use a 1:1.5 ratio of rice to water.

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
