A delightful fusion of rich chocolate, creamy cheesecake, and luscious cherries, all without turning on the oven. This no-bake cheesecake captures the essence of a classic Black Forest cake with a modern twist.
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups of crushed chocolate cookies
1/4 cup of melted butter
2 cups of cream cheese, softened
1 cup of powdered sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 cup of heavy cream, whipped
1 can of cherry pie filling
1/2 cup of grated dark chocolate
Instructions
1. Mix the crushed chocolate cookies with melted butter and press into the bottom of a springform pan. Chill in the fridge.
2. Beat the softened cream cheese until smooth, then add powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Fold in whipped heavy cream and spread over the chilled crust.
3. Spoon cherry pie filling over the cheesecake layer and sprinkle with grated dark chocolate. Chill for at least four hours.
4. Release from the springform pan, garnish with fresh cherries and chocolate shavings, and serve.
Notes
Use a food processor to crush the cookies for a finer texture.
Ensure the cream cheese is at room temperature for easy mixing.
Chill the cheesecake overnight for the best texture and flavor.
