- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup milk
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp mustard powder
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Brown ground beef with onion and garlic in a large pot over medium heat.
- Drain excess fat if needed.
- Add beef broth, milk, diced tomatoes, macaroni, salt, pepper, and mustard powder.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to simmer.
- Cover and cook for 15 minutes or until pasta is tender.
- Stir in shredded cheese until melted.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce with the liquid ingredients.
