Description

A smooth and creamy dip made from red lentils, perfect for snacks or appetizers.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup red lentils
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp tahini

Instructions

  1. Rinse the red lentils under cold water.
  2. Boil lentils in water for 15 minutes until soft.
  3. Drain excess water and let cool slightly.
  4. Blend lentils with garlic, olive oil, cumin, salt, lemon juice, and tahini until smooth.
  5. Adjust seasoning if needed.
  6. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
