- 2 pounds potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 head garlic
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Cut the top off the garlic head, drizzle with oil, wrap in foil, and roast for 30 minutes.
- Boil potatoes until tender, about 15 minutes.
- Drain potatoes and return to the pot.
- Squeeze roasted garlic cloves into the potatoes.
- Add butter, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Mash until smooth and creamy.
