Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
- 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Whisk flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper in large bowl.
- Cut butter into flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in pumpkin puree and milk until dough comes together.
- Fold in shredded cheddar cheese.
- Turn dough onto floured surface and pat into 1-inch thick circle.
- Cut into 8 wedges and transfer to baking sheet.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown.
