Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper in large bowl.
  3. Cut butter into flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in pumpkin puree and milk until dough comes together.
  5. Fold in shredded cheddar cheese.
  6. Turn dough onto floured surface and pat into 1-inch thick circle.
  7. Cut into 8 wedges and transfer to baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown.
