Description

Delicious pumpkin chocolate chip cookies that are soft, chewy, and packed with warm spices.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp milk
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix pumpkin, sugar, oil, and egg in a large bowl.
  3. Dissolve baking soda in milk and add to the mixture.
  4. Stir in flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and vanilla.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto a greased baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
  8. Let cool before serving.

Notes

  • Use pure pumpkin puree, not pumpkin pie filling.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
  • Dough may be sticky—lightly wet hands for easier shaping.
