Ingredients

  • 1 bottle (750 ml) dry red wine
  • 2 cups apple cider
  • 1/2 cup brandy
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 apple, thinly sliced
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 4 whole cloves
  • 1 star anise (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large pitcher, combine red wine, apple cider, and brandy.
  2. Add maple syrup and stir until dissolved.
  3. Add apple slices, orange slices, cinnamon sticks, cloves, and star anise.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to let flavors meld.
