Description

A refreshing and spicy twist on the classic margarita, perfect for summer. Combines sweet watermelon with a kick of heat.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh watermelon, cubed
  • 2 oz tequila
  • 1 oz lime juice
  • 1 oz triple sec
  • 1 tbsp agave syrup
  • 12 slices jalapeño (adjust to taste)
  • Ice
  • Salt or tajin for rimming the glass (optional)

Instructions

  1. Blend watermelon until smooth. Strain to remove pulp if desired.
  2. In a shaker, combine watermelon juice, tequila, lime juice, triple sec, agave syrup, and jalapeño.
  3. Add ice and shake well.
  4. Rim a glass with salt or tajin if desired.
  5. Fill the glass with ice and strain the margarita into it.
  6. Garnish with a watermelon wedge or jalapeño slice.

Notes

  • Adjust jalapeño amount based on your spice preference.
  • Use seedless watermelon for easier preparation.
  • For a frozen version, blend all ingredients with ice.
