Description
This vibrant Strawberry Lime Mocktail Margarita is the perfect alcohol-free refreshment for summer days, family gatherings, or special celebrations. Made with fresh strawberries, real lime juice, and naturally sweetened with agave or honey, it’s finished with sparkling water for that delightful fizzy twist.
Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh strawberries (hulled)
- 3 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice (about 2 limes)
- 1 to 2 tablespoons agave syrup or honey (to taste)
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 1/2 cup sparkling water or club soda
- Ice cubes
- Optional: coarse sugar or salt for rimming the glass
- Optional: lime wedges and strawberry slices for garnish
Instructions
- (Optional) Rim your glasses: rub a lime wedge around the edge of each glass and dip into coarse sugar or salt. Set aside.
- Add strawberries, lime juice, agave or honey, and cold water to a blender. Blend until smooth.
- (Optional) For a smoother drink, strain the blended mixture through a fine mesh sieve.
- Fill glasses with ice. Pour the strawberry lime mixture into each glass, about halfway full.
- Top each glass with sparkling water. Stir gently to combine.
- Garnish with lime wedges or strawberry slices. Serve immediately.
Notes
You can substitute raspberries, watermelon, or pineapple for the strawberries for a fun twist.
Maple syrup or simple syrup can replace agave/honey if preferred.
For a slushy version, blend the ingredients with 1 cup of ice instead of adding it separately.
Make the strawberry-lime base ahead of time and store in the fridge for up to 2 days. Add sparkling water just before serving to keep the fizz.
This mocktail is kid-friendly, hydrating, and perfect for all ages.
