- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix mashed sweet potatoes, granulated sugar, milk, 1/4 cup melted butter, vanilla, and eggs.
- Spread the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, combine brown sugar, flour, 1/3 cup melted butter, and pecans.
- Sprinkle the pecan topping evenly over the sweet potato mixture.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until the topping is golden and crisp.
Notes
- Use canned or freshly boiled and mashed sweet potatoes.
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg to the sweet potato mixture.
