Description

A refreshing summer salad that combines sweet peaches, juicy heirloom tomatoes, creamy burrata, and fragrant basil — perfect for warm weather dining.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 2 heirloom tomatoes (sliced into wedges)
  • 2 ripe peaches (thinly sliced)
  • 2 balls burrata cheese (about 4 oz each)
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves (torn)
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp balsamic glaze (optional)
  • sea salt (to taste)
  • freshly ground black pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Slice heirloom tomatoes into thick wedges and peaches into thin slices. Arrange them on a serving plate or platter.
  2. Place the burrata balls on top. Tear them open slightly to reveal the creamy center, if desired.
  3. Sprinkle torn fresh basil leaves across the top of the salad.
  4. Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic glaze (if using). Season with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
  5. Serve immediately at room temperature. Best enjoyed fresh with crusty bread on the side.

Notes

This salad is perfect for showcasing seasonal summer produce. For extra crunch, add toasted pine nuts or walnuts. To make it heartier, serve over arugula or mixed greens.
