Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 1 can 15 oz tomato sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish optional

Instructions

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onion until the beef is browned and onion is translucent. Drain any excess fat.
  • In a separate pot, bring salted water to a boil and cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Add the tomato sauce, milk, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the skillet with the beef. Stir well and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
  • Stir in the cooked elbow macaroni and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix well until the cheese is melted and everything is evenly coated.
  • Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

For extra richness, use a splash of heavy cream instead of milk. Want to spice it up? Add chili flakes or jalapeños.
