Pizza pan or rectangular baking sheet
Mixing bowls
Hand mixer or stand mixer
Offset spatula or spoon
Piping bag (optional, for decorating)
- Crust
- 1 roll refrigerated sugar cookie dough 16.5 oz
- Frosting
- 1 package cream cheese softened (8 oz)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 container whipped topping 8 oz
- Topping
- 1 pint fresh blueberries
- 1 pint fresh raspberries
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Prepare the crust: Press the sugar cookie dough into an even layer on a round pizza pan or rectangular sheet pan. Bake for 12–15 minutes until lightly golden. Allow to cool completely.
Make the frosting: In a bowl, beat softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Gently fold in the whipped topping until combined.
Assemble the pizza: Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled cookie crust.
Decorate the flag:
Create red stripes using rows of raspberries.
Pipe or spoon frosting between each row to make white stripes.
Arrange blueberries in the upper-left corner to represent the stars section.
Chill for 30 minutes before slicing and serving for best results.
Make ahead: You can bake the crust and prep the frosting a day in advance. Decorate with fruit the day you plan to serve.
Fruit options: Strawberries can replace raspberries if preferred.
Dairy-free option: Use dairy-free whipped topping and vegan cream cheese.
Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Piping tip: Use a piping bag or ziplock bag with the corner snipped for clean, uniform whipped topping lines.
