Equipment

  • - Blender or shaker
  • - Measuring cups
  • - Tall hurricane or cocktail glass
  • - Long spoon or skewer (for swirling colors)
  • - Food coloring (gel or natural-based)

Ingredients

  • - ½ cup pineapple juice
  • - ¼ cup coconut cream
  • - ¼ cup white rum optional
  • - ½ cup crushed ice
  • - Gel food coloring in purple blue, and pink (optional, for galaxy effect)
  • - Optional garnish: Pineapple wedges edible glitter, candy stars, straws, whipped cream

Instructions

  • In a blender or shaker, combine pineapple juice, coconut cream, white rum (if using), and crushed ice. Blend or shake until smooth.
  • Divide the mixture into three small bowls. Add different gel food coloring to each (purple, blue, and pink).
  • Layer each colored mixture into the glass carefully to maintain the swirled effect, using a spoon or pouring slowly.
  • Use a skewer or long spoon to gently swirl the colors together for a “galaxy” appearance.
  • Top with your favorite cosmic garnishes like edible glitter, pineapple slices, or colorful straws.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy the stars in your sip!

Notes

- You can skip the food coloring for a classic version—it’ll still taste amazing!
- For a frozen version, blend everything with ice instead of layering.
- To make it kid-friendly or alcohol-free, leave out the rum entirely.
- Using natural food coloring or fruit purees (like blueberry or beet juice) can create similar effects with no artificial dyes.
- Want more sparkle? Edible shimmer powder makes it extra magical.
