- 1 can 8 oz refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 4 oz cream cheese softened
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat your oven according to the crescent roll dough package instructions (typically 375°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper if desired.
In a mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, sugar, lemon zest, lemon juice, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
Unroll the crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles.
Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.
Roll each triangle from the wide end toward the point, enclosing the filling inside.
Place the filled crescents onto the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown.
Allow to cool slightly before serving and enjoy warm!
For extra flavor, sprinkle powdered sugar over the rolls after baking or drizzle with a simple lemon glaze.
Make sure your cream cheese is at room temperature for the smoothest filling.
You can add fresh berries to the filling for a fruity twist!
Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or in the fridge for up to 5 days.
